Dispute Resolution master’s degree program welcomes new director
The law school’s Appropriate Dispute Resolution Center welcomes Tim Hicks, first director of the new interdisciplinary master’s degree program.Hicks worked with CONCUR, a California natural resources dispute resolution firm, on a number of major cases and with the California Center for Public Dispute Resolution on water management negotiations in Yolo County. He holds an M.A. in conflict resolution from Antioch University.
Hicks greeted a strong entering class of master’s degree students, whose interests range from public health, real estate development, and public safety to higher education, law, and the social reconstruction of Lebanon.
