Two University of Oregon Law Students Win Scholarships to Family Law Conference

The University of Oregon School of Law congratulates its students Lisa Lam and Sandy Kozlowski, both of whom recently won full scholarships to attend the annual conference of the Family Law Section of the Oregon State Bar October 18-20, 2007.  Ms. Lam is Vice-President of the Student Bar Association, has worked at Oregon Legal Services, and is currently enrolled in the School of Law’s Domestic Violence Clinic.  She received her scholarship from the Oregon chapter of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers.  Ms. Kozlowski, who received her scholarship from the Oregon Academy of Family Law Practitioners, has externed in the chambers of Multnomah County Circuit Court Judge Susan Svetkey (Family Law Division).  She has also done volunteer work assisting divorcing women in Coffee Creek, and has worked in a homeless shelter for abused women and their children.
