Bill Van Atta 1952-2007
Bill Van Atta, UO Law 1975, passed away at his son’s home on July 21, 2007, at the age of 55. Bill was one of Oregon’s first blind lawyers. He was a solo practitioner and served as Malheur County Bar President from 2005-2007. Bill leaves behind his wife, Bonnie Lee Kessell, his mother Laura, five brothers and sisters, two children, and two grandchildren.
