Honorable Ellen Rosenblum to Speak on Family & Juvenile Law at Law School Saturday, November 3

On Saturday, November 3, from 10:00-11:30 a.m., the Honorable Ellen Rosenblum will present a CLE titled “Recent Judicial & Legislative Developments in Family & Juvenile Law,” for 1.5 CLE credits.  Judge Rosenblum, an alumna of the School of Law, has been a Judge of the Oregon Court of Appeals since 2005.  Before joining the Court of Appeals, she served as a circuit judge for the Multnomah County Civil Court, as well as an Assistant U.S. Attorney.  Judge Rosenblum also engaged in private practice in for five years after her graduation from the School of Law.  Judge Rosenblum has received many accolades for her work, including the Oregon Women Lawyers Justice Betty Roberts Award, the Oregon State Bar President’s Public Service Award, the University of Oregon Law School Meritorious Service Award, and the Multnomah Bar Association Award of Merit.  Judge Rosenblum is also a “double Duck,” having received both her J.D. and her B.A. degrees from the University of Oregon.

The CLE will be held at the School of Law, 1515 Agate Street, Room 110, in Eugene.  1.5 CLE credits will be offered.  The cost is $25 for Law School Alumni Association (“LSAA”) members, $50 to non-LSAA members, and free to those who do not take CLE credits.  For further information, call 541.346.3970 or email raj@uoregon.edu.
