Professor Svitlana Kravchenko, Ph.D., Named Director of LL.M. Program in Environmental and Natural Resources Law
The University of Oregon School of Law is pleased to announce that it has chosen Professor Svitlana Kravchenko, Ph.D., to become Program Director of its LL.M. Program in Environmental and Natural Resources Law.
Professor Kravchenko, who teaches International Environmental Law, Human Rights and Environment, and Global Environmental Challenges, joins the roster of distinguished teachers and scholars who make up the University of Oregon School of Law’s Environmental and Natural Resources Law Program. She taught national and international environmental law for more than 25 years in Ukraine before coming to Oregon. She maintains an active presence in international affairs, serving as Vice-Chair of the Compliance Committee of the Aarhus Public Participation Convention in Geneva and continuing as president of the public interest environmental law firm that she created in Ukraine thirteen years ago.
