Attorney for Brandon Mayfield to Speak at School of Law October 30
Tuesday, October 30, at 5:30 p.m. in Room 110 of the School of Law, Elden Rosenthal, counsel to Brandon Mayfield in his successful challenge to portions of the USA Patriot Act, will deliver an hour-long presentation about the substance and ramifications of the case. Mayfield v. United States was recently in the headlines when Judge Ann Aiken, a School of Law alumna, struck down the provisions Mayfield had challenged as unconstitutional. The event, which will include a Q&A session, will be moderated by School of Law Professor Garrett Epps.
