School of Law Grads in 12 States Voted “Super Lawyers” and “Rising Stars” of the Bar

The University of Oregon School of Law is pleased to congratulate the 143 of its alumni, practicing in 12 states, who have been named “Super Lawyers” or “Rising Stars” of the bar by the publishers of Law & Politics Magazine.  Ninety-two of these alumni practice in Oregon, and 51 practice in other states.  The lawyers included on the list were selected through a multi-step evaluation process that included a survey of practicing lawyers in the relevant jurisdictions, an independent candidate search, and evaluation of the lawyers’ peer recognition and professional achievement.  The list is limited to 5 percent of the lawyers in each jurisdiction.  “Rising Stars”, a list limited to the best attorneys under 40, or in practice fewer than 10 years, are chosen by a similar process, with the final list limited to the top 2.5 percent of eligible lawyers.  Following are the names of School of Law alumni who made the list, state by state.
