Entrepreneur Steve Raymund Donates $200,000 to Center on Conflict and Dispute Resolution

The University of Oregon School of Law is pleased to announce that Florida entrepreneur Steve Raymund, the recently retired CEO of Tech Data Corporation and an alumnus of the University of Oregon, has made a generous gift of $200,000 to support the work of the Center on Conflict and Dispute Resolution.  Mr. Raymund reconnected with the University of Oregon through Professor Cheney Ryan, a philosophy professor active with the Center, whom Mr. Raymund remembered as a “charismatic and energetic” teacher.  The gift will support the Center’s mission by increasing faculty resources, expanding undergraduate offerings, providing administrative support, and awarding scholarships to incoming Master’s students.  For more information on the Center and its work, visit http://conflict.uoregon.edu/.
