School of Law Alumni To Be Honored by Oregon State Bar Association December 7


The School of Law is pleased to congratulate its alumni Eric Larson and Harvey Rogers, and its alumnus and former faculty member the Honorable David Schuman, on their recognition by the Oregon State Bar as recipients of the association’s 2007 Annual Awards.  Messrs. Larson and Rogers, and Judge Schuman, will be presented with their awards at the Oregon State Bar’s Annual Awards Dinner, to be held in Portland on Friday, December 7.

Mr. Rogers has been awarded the Oregon State Bar President’s Membership Service Award.  He is a partner in the Portland office of K&L Gates, where his practice is primarily devoted to municipal finance.  Mr. Rogers also serves on the Marion County Council of Economic Advisors, and as the chair of the Oregon Short Term Fund Board.

Mr. Larson has been awarded the Oregon State Bar President’s Award of Special Appreciation.  He is a shareholder at Gevurtz Menashe, where he practices family law.

Judge Schuman has been awarded the OSB President’s Affirmative Action Award.  Judge Schuman serves on the Oregon Court of Appeals, and is a former member of the faculty of the School of Law.
