Oregon Law Students Compete at Regional Client Counseling Competition
University of Oregon Law students Laura Audsley, Joshua Brown, Mary Anne Nash, and Andrea Thompson will compete at the American Bar Association Law Student Division’s Client Counseling Competition on Friday, Feb. 15 and Saturday, Feb. 16, at the University of Victoria in Victoria, B.C.
The competition simulates a law office consultation in which law students, acting as attorneys, are presented with a client matter. Students conduct an interview with a person playing the role of the client and then explain how they would proceed further in the hypothetical situation. This year’s competition topic is civil rights/civil liberties.
Good luck at the regional competition Oregon Law students!
