Ceremony to Unveil Portrait of Chief Joseph At Oregon Law Friday, February 1
On Friday, February 1, at 1:00 p.m. in the Morse Commons, Oregon Law will host a portrait unveiling ceremony of a portrait of Chief Joseph, leader of the Wallowa Band of Nez Perce Indians. The portrait was painted by artist Jim Gronsand, who is donating the portrait for a two-year display in the law library. The event is free and the public is invited to attend to honor the legacy of Chief Joseph and express gratitude to the artist for his generous loan.
