Oregon Law’s National Lawyers Guild Board Announces 2008-2009 Board Members

Oregon Law’s National Lawyers Guild Board recently announced its 2008-2009 board members:

Co-Directors: Jilian Clearman and Amanda Garty
Publicity Director: Andy Engel
Outreach Coordinator: Emma Weisman
Secretary: Autumn Johnson
Treasurer: Makido Yoshioka
Legal Observation/Know Your Rights Training Coordinator: Jeff Gent
Board Members-At-Large: Channa France and Lyndsey Moore

The National Lawyers Guild is a student organization dedicated to the need for basic change in the structure of the political and economic system.  The guild’s members work for progressive political and economic change on issues including anti-racism, anti-sexism (women’s caucus), disability rights, international issues, labor and employment issues, “queer caucus,” Middle Eastern issues, prison law, United People of Color, and military law.
