Oregon Law Welcomes Visiting Professor Ryan Vacca
Oregon Law is pleased to welcome Visiting Professor Ryan Vacca. Vacca comes to Oregon from the law firm of Stinson Morrison Hecker LLP in St. Louis, Mo., where he handled cases involving copyright and trademark licensing and registration, fair use, entertainment industry practices and trade secret misappropriation. He also served as national counsel for multidistrict product liability litigation.
Professor Vacca received a dual bachelor’s degree from Amherst College and a juris doctorate from the University of Missouri School of Law. He recently completed his master of laws degree in trade regulation with a concentration in intellectual property from New York University School of Law.
While a full-time lawyer, Professor Vacca published several law review articles and served as a volunteer attorney for Volunteer Lawyers and Accountants for the Arts where he provided free legal services to low-income individuals creating artistic work in the St. Louis metropolitan area.
