Oregon Law Welcomes Visiting Professor Chad Carr
Oregon Law is pleased to welcome Visiting Professor Chad Carr. Carr is an associate in the corporate department at the Boston office of Ropes & Gray, LLP. He also served as clerk for the Hon. Judge Patti B. Saris at the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts.
Professor Carr received his bachelor’s degree from The College of William and Mary and his juris doctorate from Harvard Law School. While at Harvard, he was a senior editor of the Harvard Civil Rights-Civil Liberties Law Review. Professor Carr also assisted in teaching negotiation courses at Harvard, as well as workshops for practicing lawyers and other professionals. He trained new mediators as a Court Liaison with the Harvard Mediation Program and was a 2006 Hewlett Negotiation Research Fellow at Harvard.
Prior to entering the legal field, Professor Carr taught high school math and music, and worked for Active.com (an online directory of sports and recreational activities).
Professor Carr teaches two Negotiation courses.
