Professor Michelle McKinley to Present “The Unbearable Lightness of Being: Hybridity and Racial Identity in Colonial Lima” October 10
Professor Michelle McKinley
Assistant Professor of Law Michelle McKinley will present her work-in-progress, “The Unbearable Lightness of Being: Hybridity and Racial Identity in Colonial Lima,” at noon Friday, October 10, in the Oregon Humanities Center, conference room 159.
Professor McKinley’s presentation is part of her residency this year with the Oregon Humanities Center as a Faculty Research Fellow. Professor McKinley is also a Wayne Morse Resident Scholar this academic year, conducting groundbreaking research on race, gender, and cultural citizenship.
