October 24, 2008 ADR Program Recognized in Governor’s Mediation Month ProclamationOn September 30, 2008, Oregon Governor Ted Kulongoski and Secretary of State Bill Bradbury signed a proclamation declaring November as Mediation Month in Oregon. The proclamation recognizes Oregon Law’s Appropriate Dispute Resolution (“ADR”) program as one of a wide variety of resources in the state that provide and support mediation and dispute resolution services to the people of Oregon. The proclamation notes that programs, such as ADR, are making Oregon a leader in providing resolution opportunities for communities, courts, and public policy disputes statewide.
