Holiday Cards are Back to Benefit Domestic Violence Clinic

Oregon Law’s Domestic Violence Clinic is kicking off the season by once again offering locally designed holiday cards. For a $50 tax-deductible contribution ($10 for University of Oregon students), the clinic will send a card to the person of your choice. The card notes that you have made a donation to the Domestic Violence Clinic in the recipient’s name.

Donations from the holiday card project help provide civil legal services to low-income victims of domestic violence, stalking, and sexual assault in Oregon. The proceeds also help the clinic train law students to take on this important work.

Professor Merle Weiner, who works closely with the clinic, indicated that, “Purchasing a card (or more than one) is an excellent way to support our clinic. It has the additional benefit of informing an ever-widening circle about our work. The holiday card fundraiser, now in its third year, has become an important way to advance the work of the Domestic Violence Clinic and we deeply appreciate every card that is ordered.”
