Join in “A Conversation with Betsy Myers” February 26

Betsy Myers, a senior official in the Clinton Administration who served as the president’s senior advisor on women’s issues and the first director of the White House Office for Women’s Initiatives and Outreach (1995-97), will deliver a public talk from noon to 1:30 p.m. Thursday, February 26, in Deady Hall 301.
While at the White House, Myers helped ensure that such issues as domestic violence, reproductive choice, breast cancer, and women in business figured prominently on the administration’s legislative agenda. More recently, Myers served as a senior advisor to President Barack Obama’s campaign as chief operating officer and chair of the Women for Obama.
This event is co-sponsored by various university groups, including the Women’s Law Forum and Students for Reproductive Justice.
