Students Rebecca Ivanoff and Mitch Huzar Represented Oregon Law at National Negotiation Competition

Second-year students Rebecca Ivanoff and Mitch Huzar successfully competed at the American Bar Association’s 2008-09 National Negotiation Competition in Boston February 13-14.

The team qualified to the “Sweet Sixteen” round of the national competition before falling to the team from Northwestern University School of Law, who went on to win the national title. Ivanoff and Huzar were among the 24 teams that advanced from 10 regions to compete at the national level.

Ivanoff and Huzar successfully competed in three rounds to win the ABA’s Regional Negotiation Competition in November, which was held at the University of Alberta.
