Climatologist Philip Mote to Present at March 19 ENR Fireside Conversation
Oregon Law’s Environmental and Natural Resources Law Program, along with the University of Oregon’s Environmental Studies Program, continues its “Seeking Sustainable Solutions: A Series of Fireside Conversations on Global Warming 2008-09″ with an “Update on the Oregon Climate Change Research Institute” presented by Climatologist Philip Mote.
Mote is the new director of the Oregon University System’s Oregon Climate Change Research Institute, which is housed at Oregon State University. He will deliver an update on the work of the institute, as well as an update on global climate science since the 2007 Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (“IPCC”) assessment report.
The event takes place at 5:00 p.m. Thursday, March 19, in Knight Law Center 175. It is free and open to all members of the university community.
