Susan Gary, Oregon Law’s Orlando J. and Marian H. Hollis Professor of Law, will speak on “Drafting for Donor Intent” to the Trusts and Estates Section of the New York State Bar Association during their spring meeting in Amelia Island, Florida, March 19-22.
The title of this year’s meeting is, “Estate Planning in Uncertain Times: Tax and Non-tax Considerations.” Conversations will focus on the unique challenges presented by the uncertainties of estate and income tax reform in turbulent economic times, particularly in regard to counseling clients. Speakers will discuss many tried and true estate planning techniques that transcend these current challenges and provide estate planners with valuable planning options to meet the needs of their clients.
