Seven Professors Commended for Work with Oregon Law Commission

Seven members of the Oregon Law faculty were commended in a letter from the Oregon Law Commission for their participation in law reform efforts during the 2009 Legislative Session.

Professors Carl Bjerre, Andrea Coles-Bjerre, Caroline Forell, Susan Gary, Leslie Harris, Maurice Holland, and Dom Vetri all contributed a great deal of time to working with the Oregon Law commission and helped to advance several bills this session.

Carl Bjerre: Member of the UCC Articles 1 and 7 Work Group and Reporter, resulting in the passage of SB 558.

Andrea Coles-Bjerre: Member of the Uniform Interstate Deposition and Discovery Act Group.

Caroline Forell: Member of the Emergency Preparedness Liability Work Group and Reporter, resulting in the passage of HB 3021.

Susan Gary: Member of the Elective Share Work Group and Reporter, resulting in the passage of HB 3077.

Leslie Harris: Member of the Juvenile Code Revision Work Group.

Maurice Holland: Member of the Conflicts of Law Work Group, resulting in the passage of SB 561, and also member of the Uniform Interstate Deposition and Discovery Act Work Group.

Dom Vetri: Commissioner; member of the Conflicts of Law Work Groups, resulting in the passage of SB 561; the OLC Enabling Rules Work Group, resulting in the passage of SB 562; and the Uniform Interstate Deposition and Discovery Act Work Group.
