Wayne Morse Center Welcomes Visiting Distinguished Scholar James McCarthy
The Wayne Morse Center for Law and Politics is pleased to welcome Visiting Distinguished Scholar James McCarthy for the first of a two-year inquiry into the theme, “Climate Ethics and Climate Equity.”
Professor McCarthy is a Harvard University climate scientist and co-chair of the Nobel Peace Prize winning Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change. His research interests are in the regulation of plankton productivity in the sea, and in recent years have focused on regions that are strongly affected by seasonal and inter-annual variation in climate.
