Law Students Support Haiti Relief Efforts

Led by second-year student Marissa Garcia, Oregon Law students are accepting donations throughout this week for Konbut Pou Ayiti (KONPAY), a network of groups in Haiti focused on Haitian solutions to environmental, social, and economic problems. Currently, the funds are being used for immediate relief in the form of food, water, medical supplies, and fuel.

Alumna Amber Munger ’08 is a board member for the Haitian Sustainable Development Foundation, one of the groups that is part of KONPAY.

Students will be accepting donations in the Knight Law Center’s Wayne Morse Commons area from noon to 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 19, through Thursday, January 21.

For more information, please contact Marissa Garcia.
