Professor Steven Bender Appointed to AALS Professional Development Committee
Professor Steven Bender, director of Portland Programs, recently was appointed to serve a three-year term on the Professional Development Committee for the Association of American Law Schools (AALS). 
The committee meets annually at the AALS headquarters in Washington, D.C., to select among proposals for one-day workshops to be held at the association’s Annual Meeting, and for two-day and three- to five-day conferences for the Mid-year Meeting.
