Oregon Review of International Law Hosts Symposium on Economic Reform March 12
The Oregon Review of International Law will host “Making Room at the Table: New Voices in Economic Reform” from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Friday, March 12, in Knight Law Center 175.
The symposium aims to identify the ways the law failed to prevent the recent economic crisis, and discuss and critique the ongoing efforts to prevent future economic destabilization. The day’s morning panel, “Examining the Beast,” will offer historical and critical perspectives of the current economic crisis. The afternoon panel is titled, “Looking Forward,” where panelists will discuss ongoing economic reform efforts.
