Legal Ballers Association to Raise Funds for Haiti Earthquake Relief

The Legal Ballers Association will once again host its annual All-Star Charity Game at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, April 4, at Gerlinger Hall. All proceeds from this year’s game will be donated to Partners in Health, an organization that has been dedicated to providing healthcare and educational services in Haiti for more than 20 years.

Last year, the LBA raised more than $500 for the Student Hurricane Network through raffle and ticket sales to the game. This year, the association is hoping to double that amount and send $1000 to Haiti.

Individuals interested in contributing may do so by:

1. Donating gift cards or other items for the Charity Game raffle. The majority of the money raised in the past has come from raffle sales. Providing quality items for the raffle helps to sell more tickets and increase attendance. Raffle tickets will be sold for $2 each and include such prizes as a $100 Macy’s gift card, $35 Sweet Life Patisserie gift card, $15 iTunes gift card, and a Trader Joe’s gift basket.

2. Making a cash donation. Donations can be made using a credit card or Paypal account at the LBA website. ALL donations will go to the earthquake relief efforts of Partners in Health.

3. Attend the Chili’s Bar & Grill Give Back Night. From 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, April 5, bring a special LBA flyer to Chili’s and 10 percent of your check will be donated to Partners in Health.
