Professor Mary Wood and Tim Ream to Discuss Climate Change Legislation at Public Forum April 7
Oregon Law Professor Mary Wood and third-year student Tim Ream will join City of Eugene Mayor Kitty Piercy, Lane County Commissioner Pete Sorenson, and Representative Phil Barnhart for a discussion of current and proposed legislation for climate protection at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 7, at Harris Hall (125 8th Ave.)
“Climate Change: What are Our Representatives Doing?” is a free public forum organized by the Climate Crisis Working Group and Oregon Women’s Action for New Directions (WAND). Co-sponsors include the Community Alliance of Lane County, Green Sanctuary Committee of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Eugene, the Helios Resource Network, Lane Audubon, and Many Rivers Group Sierra Club.
