UO Portland to Host ‘Global Workplace: Employment and Immigration Tips and Tricks’ CLE June 28
The University of Oregon in Portland will host an Oregon State Bar International Law Section Continuing Legal Education program, Global Workplace: Employment and Immigration Tips and Tricks, from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Monday, June 28. Oregon Law adjunct instructor and 1999 alumna Ellen Theodorson coordinated the event.
Panelists for the program include lawyers and human resources professionals who have extensive experience in dealing with foreign employment and labor law issues, immigration mechanics, and the myriad cultural and practical aspects of U.S. citizens working abroad and non-U.S. citizens working in the U.S. Panelists include:
Kristen Clark, B.A., Director of Global Human Resources and Administration at Wieden+Kennedy, an independently owned advertising agency headquartered in Portland.
Alison Daugherty, J.D., SPHR, an Assistant General Counsel for Nike, Inc.
Eileen Drake, J.D., Vice President for Administration and Legal Affairs at PCC Structurals, Inc., an affiliate of Precision Castparts Corp.
Alan C. Perkins, J.D., Partner in the Immigration Practice Group at the law firm of Tonkon Torp LLP in Portland.
Professor Henry Drummonds of the Lewis & Clark Law School will moderate the panel.
