Law School Hosts Panoramic Photo Exhibit of Eastern Oregon, Willamette Valley, Reception October 7

Oregon Law is hosting a collection of panoramic images by Albany, Oregon, photographer Kurt Norlin. Double Vision: Panoramic Photos of Eastern Oregon & the Willamette Valley will be on display in the law school’s second floor gallery through early January 2011.

Mr. Norlin has been photographing the western landscape for the past thirty years and served as a photography instructor at Linn-Benton Community College for fifteen years. His artistry is demonstrated in his panoramic vistas of the Eastern Oregon high desert. The images, he says, “give you the sense of being there rather than looking at the scene through a window.”

Mr. Norlin’s series of Willamette Valley photos were taken especially for the exhibit at the law school. A reception for Mr. Norlin and his work will take place from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, October 7, in the second floor gallery of the Knight Law Center.

More of Mr. Norlin’s work can be viewed at kurtnorlinphotography.com.
