Professor Nancy Shurtz to Present Fireside Conversation October 20
Oregon Law’s 2010-11 fireside conversation series, “Local Approaches to Global Problems: Solutions for Sustainable Communities,” welcomes the law school’s B.A. Kliks Professor Nancy Shurtz.
Professor Shurtz will present “Learning Sustainability in the Classroom and Beyond” at 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 20, in the Many Nations Longhouse.
Professor Shurtz joined the law school in 1982. Her research interests include individual and business tax law, tax policy, environmental policy, and women and the law.
The Appropriate Dispute Resolution Center, the Environmental Studies Program, the Environmental and Natural Resources Law Program, the Green Business Initiative, and the Sustainable Cities Initiative cosponsor the annual fireside conversation series.
This event is free and open to all members of the university community.
