Oregon Law and Wayne Morse Center to present ‘A Conversation on Immigrant Rights and Membership’ March 10

Oregon Law and the Wayne Morse Center for Law and Politics will host a roundtable discussion titled “Many Borders to Cross: A Conversation on Immigrant Rights and Membership” at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, March 10, in room 175 of the Knight Law Center.

The discussion will feature UCLA Law Professor Hiroshi Motomura, University of Pennsylvania Political Science Professor Rogers Smith, and UO Social Science Professor and Wayne Morse Center Senior Faculty Fellow Dan Tichenor.

This panel of interdisciplinary scholars will delve into some of the most controversial and challenging issues, including “paths to citizenship,” the DREAM Act, Arizona’s SB 1070 and proposed changes to the 14th amendment.

This event is free and open to the public.
