Oregon Law Alums Recognized by Prestigious Up & Coming Lawyers and Unsung Legal Heroes Awards
The Daily Journal of Commerce (DJC) for the state of Oregon recently announced its Up & Coming Lawyers honorees and Unsung Legal Heroes finalists for 2012. Unsurprisingly, University of Oregon School of Law alumni had a strong showing and several made it onto the list.
The awards recognize attorneys practicing with law firms, government, in-house and solo practitioners and judicial law clerks who have demonstrated a strong commitment to both the legal profession and their communities. Recipients of the award must have been admitted to the Oregon State Bar within the past 10 years.
Each of the 20 Up & Coming Lawyers honorees will be featured in the DJC Up & Coming Lawyers magazine, which is set to publish on Nov. 8. In addition, a panel of judges will select one of the Up & Coming Lawyer honorees as the 2012 Up & Coming Lawyer of the Year, and one of the Unsung Legal Heroes finalists as the 2012 Unsung Legal Hero of the Year.
