Love@OregonLaw: Alicia and Andrew
Sometimes you get a lot more than a J.D. after three years of law school. This year, to commemorate Valentine's Day, Oregon Law asked alumni to submit stories of how they met their spouse or significant other while attending law school. Read on to learn the stories of seven couples who found Love@OregonLaw.
Alicia Bettenburg '10, and Andrew Wilson '12, met at Oregon Law in 2009. Alicia, a 3L at the time, was Andrew’s ACE tutor for first-year Torts. Oddly enough, the two were neighbors and carpooled to and from school each day. Over time, they became great friends and, after Alicia graduated in 2010, they started dating.
In August 2012, Andrew proposed. They will be married at a vineyard in Southern Oregon this September and couldn’t be more excited to begin their lives together.
"Thank you Oregon Law," remarked Andrew. "I can truly say this wonderful life would not have been if not for you."
