Love@OregonLaw: Christina and Eric
Sometimes you get a lot more than a J.D. after three years of law school. This year, to commemorate Valentine's Day, Oregon Law asked alumni to submit stories of how they met their spouse or significant other while attending law school. Read on to learn the stories of seven couples who found Love@OregonLaw.
Christina Stephenson '09, and Eric Wasik '09 had every single class together during their 1L year – even Legal Research and Writing.
“I remember being intrigued by her intelligence, curiosity and humor during lectures,” recalls Eric.
Although they knew each other from class and spending time with the same group of friends, Christina and Eric didn’t develop a relationship until they both volunteered at the Public Interest Environmental Law Conference (PIELC) where they spent the whole day together; after that they were inseparable.
After surviving law school and four bar exams together, the two married last May in a ceremony that was celebrated with many friends from Oregon Law.
