Will Glasson named associate director of external relations
Portland-based position provides additional support to students and alumni
The University of Oregon School of Law is pleased to welcome back alumnus Will Glasson as the associate director of external relations.
Glasson, an active entrepreneur and 2006 graduate of Oregon Law, has worked for medium to large firms and closely held and public companies, filling various counsel, management and operations roles. Glasson's practice focused on assisting technology, athletic, outdoors and hospitality businesses with complex transactions, intellectual property, privacy and data security matters.
"I'm very excited to return to the University of Oregon School of Law community," Glasson said. "I look forward to working with prospective and current students, alumni and employers, and to developing programs and outreach activities that reemphasize the law school's reputation as Oregon's premier legal college."
As associate director of external relations for the School of Law, Glasson will be based in Portland, where he will work on employer outreach; career-related counseling for students and alumni; and admissions, development and alumni affairs.
"The Career Center team and I are thrilled to welcome Will back to the law school," said Rebekah Hanley, assistant dean for career planning and professional development. "His tremendous energy and innovative ideas will, without doubt, advance the interests of Oregon Law and its graduates in Portland and beyond."
