Public Interest Law

Addresses issues that arise in the full- or part-time practice of public interest law. Topics include: the shortfall of legal services, the consequences of this shortfall, the practical challenges facing public interest lawyers, the unique ethical issues that recur in public interest law, the possible need for a ""civil Gideon,"" and alternative strategies for meeting the legal needs of the poor.
