Women in Prison

Fall 2012 • LAW 610 • Credits: 3

Includes academic and hands-on components, working with women who are incarcerated in, or have recently been released from, Coffee Creek Correctional Facility (CCCF). Examines the history of prisons in the United States; the characteristics of female inmates; and the effects of women's incarceration on their families, especially their minor children. Must have instructor permission prior to registration.
