Provides students with an opportunity to hone their brief writing and oral argument skills to become more effective advocates in their legal careers. The course provides valuable skills regarding organization of legal arguments and effective presentation, both written and oral. Covers methods of preparation for oral arguments, and how to stay calm and score points with judges. While the course will be invaluable for students who intend on participating in the Moot Court competitions, it will also provide students with an opportunity to work with current appellate litigation to sharpen the legal skills necessary to become a successful practitioner.
