Law of Settlement

This course provides students with a survey of the landscape of legal issues and specific lawyering practices associated with the settlement of a litigated case. This course aims to fill the gap between courses that focus on the strategies and practices that lead to favorable settlement terms and courses that focus on the substantive or procedural rules surrounding the settlements.
