Natural Resources Law

Covers the vast realm of natural resources law, weaving together the various subspecialties of the field into one comprehensive framework. Examines the National Environmental Policy Act and the procedural framework of natural resources law, then explores the management of four categories of ownership of natural resources and lands: federal, tribal, state, and private. Specific topics include water appropiration, the public trust doctrine, takings law, conservation easements, and treaty rights.
