Advanced Legal Research

Surveys a wide variety of research sources and techniques in a workshop setting. Sources of law covered include secondary sources, administrative law, and legislative history, as well as topics voted on by the class. Training is provided for free and inexpensive Internet sites, LexisNexis, Westlaw, and print resources. Students analyze the effectiveness of research among various resources.
