Domestic Violence Seminar

Examines the legal system's response to the problem of domestic violence; explores civil and criminal avenues of redress. Chronicles the development of the legal system's response, details the existing shortcomings of that response, and proposes reforms, including legislative reforms, litigation, and public policy proposals. Analyzes issues of gender, power, and violence; the law as an instrument of social change; and the intersection of legal theory and practice. Highly recommended: Family Law.
