The United States Marine Corps invites you to attend an informational brief on the opportunities of practicing law for the Marines. Oregon Court of Appeals Judge James Egan(Former U.S. Army Judge Advocate and U.S. Marine Officer), and Marine Corps Officer Capt. Casey M. O'Doherty will be discussing the qualifications and details of being a Judge Advocate for the U.S. Marines.

Featuring former Oregon Governor Barbara Roberts, author of a personal and political memoir by the same title. Governor Roberts is Oregon’s first (and only) woman governor, one of only thirty-four women who have served as state chief executives in the history of the United States. In her book and lecture, Governor Roberts offers a behind-the-scenes glimpse of a woman’s life in politics and aims to “demystify” leadership by telling the story of her own unlikely rise to power.
