Browse Cheryl Hanna-Truscott’s photographs of women and their infant children living in the nursery section of Purdy, a women’s correctional facility in Washington state. This annual conference of The Portia Project features presentations by former inmates of the Coffee Creek Correctional Facility, members of the families of incarcerated women, experts in criminal justice, corrections administrators and counselors, representatives of organizations that assist women during the reentry process, and students enrolled in the Law School’s seminar on “Women in Prison.” Seating at both luncheons is limited, and an RSVP is required.
