Featuring former Oregon Governor Barbara Roberts, author of a personal and political memoir by the same title. Governor Roberts is Oregon’s first (and only) woman governor, one of only thirty-four women who have served as state chief executives in the history of the United States. In her book and lecture, Governor Roberts offers a behind-the-scenes glimpse of a woman’s life in politics and aims to “demystify” leadership by telling the story of her own unlikely rise to power.

Moot Court Client Counseling Competition

The Moot Court Board will be running the CLIENT COUNSELING COMPETITION on October 29th and 30th. For those interested, we will be holding an informational meeting on WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 16,AT 12:30 IN ROOM 142. At the meeting we will answer questions about the intraschool and regional competitions.

The intraschool competition will be held at the UO Law School on two nights, Tuesday, October 29th and Wednesday, October 30th. The competition is open to 1Ls, 2Ls, and 3Ls, and the winners will advance to the Regional Client Counseling Competition
