Personalized BUSINESS CARDS and CARDHOLDERS are available from the Law and Entrepreneurship Student Association. The cards bear the official "O" logo and are similar to those available to UO employees. Says one student who did not buy cards last year:
"Truthfully I felt at a professional disadvantage this summer when I met important and powerful people and I did not have a business card. The people I worked with who did have business cards established a significant level of respect. I wish I had ordered business cards when they were offered."

Portland is a major hub of sex trafficking in adolescents, mostly girls, and disproportionately teens of color. The problem extends through Oregon and up and down the I-5 corridor. The law is conflicted about this issue, making it possible to prosecute girls for prostitution even though they are too young to consent to sexual activity.
Come learn about new laws that focus on the traffickers, efforts to help the teens, and why solutions are so difficult to find.
