The Event offer students a chance to see the adjudication and ADR sides of family law as well as how the two interact. Along with a general discussion, the speakers will also be answering student questions regarding Family Law and Family Mediation.

Patent Bar Interest Panel

LIP is sponsoring this lunchtime Q&A session with a focus on students that are interested in taking the patent bar. It will highlight general requirements and formatting of the test, and will be led by Mark Dighton, the Director of Law School Relations and Administrative Director of the Patent Bar Review, from Practising Law Institute (PLI).

LRW Oral Arguments

As a part of LRW curriculum, all 1L students are required to present oral arguments to a panel of volunteer judges. Arguments will take place in the late afternoon throughout the week, and during the early afternoon on Friday, April 3.

If you are interested in participating in an Oregon Law clinic this summer or in the 2014-15 academic year you must apply through a lottery called “the clinic draw.” The goal of the clinic draw process is to give all students equal access to clinical experiences.

Students must complete a Clinic Preference Form online, which is available on MyLaw. Forms must be submitted by April 4, 2014 at 2:00p. No late submissions will be accepted.
