Fighting for Oregon's Environment: What We Have Learned

Please join us for a presentation by Michael McCloskey, a native Oregonian and alumnus of the University of Oregon School of Law. Mr. McCloskey worked for the national Sierra Club for forty years and was the Club’s Executive Director from 1969-1985. During this time, national membership grew from 70,000 to half a million, and the Club helped push Congress to pass over one hundred environmental laws. This event is co-sponsored by Land Air Water, the ENR Center, and the Many Rivers Group (the Oregon Chapter of the Sierra Club).

Gain valuable on-the-job skills, network, and learn about different areas of the law. This session is a great way to hear about the various externship opportunities, meet the faculty supervisors, and learn about the process of arranging an externship.
