Fredrik Logevall is a Pulitzer Prize winning historian of the Vietnam War and an alumnus of the University of Oregon. He is John S. Knight Professor of International Studies at Cornell University, where he also serves as vice provost for international affairs and director of the Mario Einaudi Center for International Studies. Logevalls most recent book Embers of War: The Fall of an Empire and the Making of Americas Vietnam, won the 2013 Pulitzer Prize for History.
